Although red is a color, the RED I am talking about is a rock band. This Nashville-based band comprises of singer Michael Barnes, guitarist Anthony Armstrong, bassist Randy Armstrong, and drummer Joe Rickard. They have produced three albums- End of Silence (2006), Innocence and Instinct (2009), and Until We Have Faces (2011)- and are about to Release the Panic (02.05.13). For people who know me (or even people's first impression of me), many are shocked to find out that RED is one of my favorite bands.
Technically, my favorite color is green, but as I said, I'm not talking about color. When I heard the first album, End of Silence, I immediately was drawn into the songs because of the use of classical stringed instruments among the alternative rock sound. I did not find a song on that album which I did not like. And the same was true with the next two albums. Another awesome fun fact is that each album they have released has come out within a few days of my birthday! I was able to see RED in concert at Juanita's, and it was incredible!
