Here is the labeling of the 9 positions from before.
A B C D E F G H I
Using the chart from the preciding hint, we can make a graph showing all of the values that can be obtained in the central square. We begin by moving A-B-C-F-E, producing 2 in the center. From there, we can chart other values for the central square as follows:
2 /|\ / | \ 25 17 3x | | | 20__ | /|\ \ | / | \ \ 26 37 6x 23x /|\ \ / | \ 35x 7x 29 41 / | | 43x 29r 38 /|\ / | \ 49 9 35x / \ 44__ \ /|\ \ \ / | \ \ \ 38r 53 41r 10 \ / \ | 14 59x 47x W /|\ / | \ 33 5 23x / / \ 32 27x 11x /||\ / || \ 45 32r 8__ | /|\ \ 41r / | \ \ 29 14r 4 20r | /|\ 29r / | \ 11x | 18 W | 19x
A bit of explanation is needed here. A number with an x beside it shows a dead end, usually because we have an odd number which is 3 (mod 4), which we saw in a previous hint was doomed. A number with an r beside it shows a value that is repeated above. Thus, we find ourselves going in circles. Finally, the two W's in the chart shows the two ways to win. With either a 10 or 4 in the center, one moves E-H-I to get either 3 or 2 in position I.
With this chart, it should now be easy to find the solution. However, this chart only shows the values obtained in the center square, it does not tell you the path to get there. Using the table in the previous hint would help you find the actual paths.
