A Little About Me
A Little About Me Personally:
Since I am an Ed Techie, I obviously love to play with computers, applications, mobile devices, etc. I love to teach, and teaching at ASU allows me to do both. Teaching people to use technology effectively and efficiently is fun for me. I believe teachers (both pre-service and in-service) need to learn effective ways of integrating technology. Individuals may know some aspects of technology, but that doesn't mean they know effective ways of using it in Education. I believe teachers need to know older technologies as well as newer technologies. I am student-oriented and believe that anyone can learn to use a technology.

Besides Teaching, I love to make quilt tops. I am fascinated by the pattern that emerges from the combination of the material and the quilt pattern. Seeing the final product gives me a lot of satisfaction. I don't get a lot of time to make quilt tops, but I do it when I can. (I have to admit, I like playing computer games too, especially Text Twist2, Wurdle, Jigsaw Puzzles and Hoyle games.)
Even though I am LD in reading, I still love to read. I know my limitations, but I know it has nothing to do with intelligence. I try and read a little every night. I am also ADHD which can, at times, cause difficulties in my job and homelife. We all do the best we can.
I have a four-legged child. His name is Tucker and he is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. He is a bit of a little stinker and very spoiled, but he is a sweetheart. He even gets to have his own page (which is in need of updating).
