random questions from my son
Ever since he moved to the big city and discovered that he has more rollover minutes than is decent, my son Jeremy has taken to calling me at odd moments to ask me questions. Below is a sample (you'll have to find your own answers--hey, I'm not your dad):
"Dad, weird question: do you tend to say "bless you" after somebody coughs?"
"Richard Strauss: Nazi or not a Nazi?"
"What is the definition of etiogenesis?"
"What is the meaning of double entendre?"
"When did Wagner die?"
"What do the initials 'C.E.' stand for when they come after a date?"
"What is the technical definition of a thoroughfare, and is it redundant to say 'major thoroughfare'?" (this one coming while I am lost in the woods)
