25 June: They really do pop at the top I got connected with a group of Wednesday hikers for an excursion in Ashfield MA. From the Sanderson Academy on MA 12 to Bug Hill Road, then to Peter Hill, down to Bear Swamp, lunch (and champagne) on a ledge on the Overlook Trail, and then to a pasture with nice views to the north:
