26 May: Memorial Day observances & a hike to Haystack No Memorial Day activiites in Wardsboro, so I went down to Wilmington where there was a public program in Memorial Hall and then a small parade on Main Street.
In the parade, was a truck driven by a Viet Nam veteran with a Viet Nam War Veterans flag and a POW/MIA flag
Afterwards, a hike to Haystack which is just a few miles west of the village center.
