9 August: Stratton Mountain After three dreadful days of intermittent showers (they got about five inches over those days on Stratton), finally a clear if cool day (it was 60 degrees at the summit). Three days of rain may have dimmed my spirits but they did nothing to call my fear of exposed heights, so these firetower views are courtesy of a kind yet intrepid fellow hiker.
