04/03/04 - Congratulations to Andrea Hausman for her first place award at the 88th Arkansas Academy of Science Meeting held in Jonesboro, AR.  Her presentation was "Chromium Hexadentate Bipyridyl Complexes as Photoactivators for Protein Electron Transfer."

06/01/03 - Good luck to Paul Nave and Mark Thomson.  Paul retired at the end of June and Mark moved on to Southeastern Louisiana University.

04/05/03 - Congratulations to Jan Annaratone for her second place award at the 87th Meeting of the Arkansas Academy of Science, Fayetteville, AR.  Her presentation was "Preliminary IR study of the Reaction of CpRu(CO)2+ with organic thiols."

11/09/00 - Group T-shirts have been ordered.  Cost will be $10/ shirt for group members. Last Spring's shirt is sold out.  This semester there will be two different shirts: one similar to the Spring 2000 shirt (with a different molecule) and the second will have a dragon playing electric guitar with the saying 'Heavy Metal Chemistry' on the back.  Check back later for photos.  The Spring 2000 shirt is shown below:

10/28/00 - Do NOT place broken glass of any kind in the trash cans.  Only place the glass in the one labeled "Broken Glass Only".  Some Physical Plant workers have been injured when removing the trash bags from the trash containers in other labs.  We want to maintain a safe lab environment for all.
