Shubhalaxmi Kher obtained her bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering in 1981 and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1989 in India. She received her Ph. D. in Electronics Engineering from the Devi Ahilya University, DAVV, Indore, India, in 1997. Before obtaining her Ph.D, she was teaching Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at SGS Institute of technology and Science, Indore, India as an assistant professor. She served as a Professor of Electronics and Instrumentation in India until 2004.


She was a visiting Scholar at the Oakland University, MI from Aug 2001 until June of 2002 and worked on the crash detection and avoidance for the passenger cars. She was a Post doctoral research associate at Iowa State University from April 2004 until Aug 2008 and worked on wireless sensor networks, and application of Fuzzy logic to P2P systems.


She regularly serves as panelist, keynote speaker and offer tutorials in leading conferences, and has given more than 10 invited talks in different universities. Her research activities and achievements appeared in local newspapers.
